The kids are on Spring Break this week, and we have been keeping busy with random projects. :) They like to watch "Cake Boss" and have been wanting to make their own cakes using fondant. So sense it was Spencer's birthday this week we decided to go crazy with the cake making.
Britten had a softball game in Ely and wasn't able to join in our fun. :( We saved her some fondant and she made a cake yesterday with it. (I'll have to post a pic of that one later.) Hannah, Brooklyn, Mathew and Nathan each made their own cakes. The picture didn't turn out so good. Brooklyn's is the flower, Hannah's is the stripes, Mathew made a baseball field, and Nathan is the big smiley face. :) They had a tone of fun decorating these master pieces.
We decided to put candles in all of them for Spencer to blow out. Ten candles in three and nine in one. It turned out really nice. We watched a movie outside on the big screen that night. We all had a great day! I am so thankful for Spencer! He is a wonderful husband and father! We love you babe!!
we hope you did have a great day Spence... those cakes look as good as cake boss to me. they all did a great job.. you always have such fun things for the kids to do sis. I love you all and hope your having a great Easter..
