Mathew was so excited for the pinewood derby. He got his car two months earlier and asked almost everyday "when can we make my car?" He picked out the design and the colors. He loved every minute/hour spent on making his car. Thank goodness that the making it with dad part is the most important part of this derby, because his car was the first one out. He lost both of his races and was done within 15 mins. He was a good sport and tried real hard not to cry. He did great! It was a great learning experience for both him and Spencer. They already have a new plan for next year. :)
